Liz Taylor, Charles Ingram and Kymber Horn meet with the recently formed Business Computing Advisory Committee (BCAC). Their charge from Sally is to assist in evaluating Kuali Partnership. Members offered to assist in development of Decision Matrix/Tree.

December 9th, 2004

Kuali roles identified:

Kuali Board Members: Charles Ingram (Voting), Sally Jackson, Liz Taylor

Kuali Functional Council: Mark McGurk, Primary; Kymber Horn, Secondary

Kuali Development Team: Andrew Hollamon, Lead Architect/Developer; Jeff Schwarz, Doug Hester

December 8th, 2004

Sally Jackson meets with CABO, includes discussion of Open Source proposal.

December 7th, 2004

Liz Taylor, Charles Ingram present Community Source concept to Information Technology Policy Group (ITPG) for information and guidance. Unanimous encouragement to continue investigation and current level of participation - $24,000 and 2 developers.

December 1st, 2004

Open Source summit in Phoenix, preceded by Kuali Board meeting. UA and Cornell invited to attend all Board Meetings and functions until we "opt out." UA offers $24,000 as a sign of good faith and for project start up costs matched by other institutions and 2 developers to participate on technical teams.

November 28th-December 2nd, 2004

Andrew Hollamon, Kymber Horn, Jeff Schwarz, Doug Hester travel to Indiana to meet with developers/architects from Indiana, Cornell, Hawaii and Michigan State. Technical architecture solid, modular and viable. Recommendation is made to further participate, particularly in Workflow module. Current FIS Architecture (PowerPoint) , Notional Development standards
