Biweekly Usability Issues Prioritization meetings began—Paul Sandoval and Kymber Horn are representing Arizona.

As testers work on the Kuali Financial System, we find both usability and non-usability issues—real bugs vs nice to haves or cosmetics. The cosmetic nice to have issues are evaluated by the Kuali Usability Prioritization committee with representatives from Arizona, Indiana and Cornell.

We review the issues and categorize as to be prioritized, to be added to the scope document for Phase 3 and beyond, to be reviewed by Functional Council and won’t fix.

The “To be prioritized” issues were further categorized as “must have, nice to have and could live without for now.” The must haves will be evaluated by a developer and will be assigned resource requirements—from there we will finalize prioritization.

Usability issues are coming from the Chart of Accounts, Financial Transactions, General Ledger and Research Administration.
